Life & Bits

Easy to follow blogging tips for beginners on

Life & Bits is a blog about life in the digital world.  Follow my journey as I discover and learn about life in the internet. The blog shares the information learned and include links straight to the relevant pages, minimizing searches and research.  Hopefully, the blog will allow many to experience the internet in a brand new way.

We usually get advise on our blogs from experts.  Their knowledge is so advanced, beginners sometimes have difficulties understanding their explanation of the most simple tasks.  I am certainly no expert which is an asset when writing my blog.  Since I experience the same difficulties you do and ask the same questions, I can build from this experience the easy to follow blogging tips included in the blog.

This blog specifically explores blogging with  We will first explore all the functions provided to enhance the Appearance of your blog.  On Life & Bits top menu, you can find the articles on Stat Widgets.  I have explored a number of stat widgets that work with, which mean they offer non-JavaScript code to include in the blog.  Please explore these options for your blog.  I explain how to get access to the sites, select your counters and how to install them in your blog.

I will be updating this page as I keep exploring different aspect of the blog appearance.

Reynaldo, I always look forward to reading your blog, and in that spirit I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. Details are in my post at Following the award guidelines, the post includes the other nominees that I feel are a must read and a little bit about their blogs. At the end of the post are the instructions for picking up your award and a graphic suitable for framing, if you have a teeny tiny frame. I’ve also updated my blogroll with your blog.

    Hi Reinaldo,

Thanks for saying “hi” over at my place. Looks like you’ve set out an admirable task. Thanks for the info.

I too am learning. And if there’s one lesson I can’t seem to find it’s how to find enough time for blogging. If you have a handle on that, I’d be mighty obliged.

I love your blog, it such a cute idea! I’ll be reading it….Say hi to your granddaughter from me. People are scrambling to find a topic to write about and you found a perfect topic without looking for one. Have fun.

Hi Reinaldo! Interesting that you are offering to post in either language, it took me years before I allowed myself to blog in English and not in my native language (French), because I was a little intimidated and afraid that I would not write well enough!

I am curious to see what you will decide to do after you have completed your survey, I have some friends who blog in a completely bilingual manner, and I am very admirative (because it feels like double work, although there are nice tools on WordPress that alleviate the burden, but I have not decided to use them myself yet!).

Thanks for having visited my blog too. I’ll keep in touch for sure!

Thanks for your visit. As I commented in your blog, I like to read and learn from others’ experience. I hope other can learn from my experience. I chose to start the blog in English because I believe most blog readers will understand it. However, I don’t want to leave important people out, and I’m considering posting some of the previous post in Spanish.

Your site is something that can be really useful to many people. I voted to put posts in both English and Spanish, because I think Spanish speakers who don’t speak English would appreciate it and you could multiply your readership: keywords in English and Spanish, etc. Good luck with your journey!

Estoy impresionada y fascinada. Me encanta.
